About Quaker City Castings

Family-Owned Business with a Global Reach
Quaker City Castings, located in Salem, Ohio, is a no-bake sand foundry that produces a wide variety of industrial-use and specialty castings from many types of iron and steel. We also produce centrifugally cast engine components including diesel engine piston rings and cylinder liners.
We are a family-owned business that began in 1932. Our president is a metallurgist with more than 40 years experience in the foundry business and has worked for some of the largest casting producers in the country.
That level of expertise, which runs throughout every department of Quaker City Castings, has helped us to earn a reputation for the highest quality castings. It's what sets us apart from our competition. We have the capacity to produce castings to exacting specifications for a wide range of demanding, high performance applications. We regularly invest in equipment updates to our lab and testing facility, and the employee training that goes along with it. We use the latest 3-D solidification modeling software and coordinate measuring machines in order to predict and prevent problems before pouring begins. Customer satisfaction demands no less.
